FAQ

Why krill instead of regular fish oil?+

In fish oil, the omega-3s are in triglyceride or ethyl ester form — your body has to convert them first. In krill, the omega-3s are already bound to phospholipids — the same form your cell membranes are made of.* No fatty meal needed, no fishy aftertaste. Plus natural astaxanthin.

Can vegetarians take it?+

The capsule shell contains gelatin — without it, liquid krill oil can't be packaged stably. It's a trade-off for the purity of the formula inside. If you follow strict vegetarianism, this product isn't for you.

When is the best time to take it?+

With a meal that contains fat — omega-3s are fat-soluble. You can split the dose into 2-3 servings throughout the day.

Is it safe with a fish allergy?+

⚠ Krill are crustacean shellfish, not fish. But if you have a shellfish allergy, this product isn't for you. The label carries the corresponding warning.

Does it interact with blood-thinning medications?+

Omega-3s in high doses may enhance the effect of anticoagulants (warfarin, aspirin). If you take such medications, consult your doctor — we don't make individual recommendations.
